Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Pixelmoon. For anything about your data, write to hello@getrange.link.

What we collect

Only what you type into the waitlist form, your email address. We also note the language of the page and the date you signed up.

Why

We send that address one email on the day Range Link comes out on the App Store and Google Play. Nothing else. The legal basis is your consent, given when you sign up (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@getrange.link.

How long

Until the launch email goes out. Then we delete the address, within 30 days at the latest. Ask us and we delete it sooner.

Who else can see it

The list sits on the server of the hosting company this site runs on, outside its public part. We never sell it or share it with anyone else.

Protection against abuse

So nobody can flood the form, we keep a hash of your IP address for one hour, which cannot be turned back into the address. The hosting server also keeps ordinary connection logs.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use and take it elsewhere. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies and statistics

If you agree, the site turns on Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to count visits and see where they come from. Analytics then sets the _ga cookie and a _ga_ cookie named after the property, kept for up to two years, and Google keeps the statistics for 2 months by default. The data may reach Google outside the European Economic Area under the Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without it the site loads nothing from Google and sets no cookies. Only your browser remembers your choice, and you can change it with the Cookie settings button in the footer. Apart from that the site loads nothing from other services.
